Across the years, practically since recorded history, Human beings have always shown uncomprehension towards behaviours they don't understand or that diverge from what is seen as "norm".
When someone acts in any way differently or has any characteristic that is considered unorthodox, they are immidiatly pushed aside, bashed and ostrocised in all possible forms.
Many people suffer as consequence of the fact that people don't understand (or don't want to understand) that they have a different sexual orientation or that their perception of love might in any shape or form diverge from what people are accustomed to.
With this in mind, we at "Destroy the Closet" started this blog.
We want to make our contribution to help those people and to give steps towards finishing discrimination against any minority.
This blog intends to shelter, to inform, and to protest.
To shelter anyone from any discriminated minority; to inform anyone who might still believe in derogatory myths that feed the cycle of incomprehension that intolerance is built upon; and to protest against all the injustices made against those minorities.
These are our objectives. And we want you to be a part of it.
